A note from the team:
1. Yes, we signed up to this while drunk. (But we had the idea when not drunk, pinky promise!)
2. Yes, we still think it's a good idea.
3. No, we did not own hiking shoes/boots/gear when we signed up.
4. No, we do not practice hiking regularly.
5. How's our practice going? EXCELLENT. With a side of getting lost, dehydration, and the inability to walk for a week and a half.
6. Where is Dieppe? We'll let you know when we find out!
7. Apparently walking for 24hrs also means walking through the night. Pray for us.
8. We will be fine. :) In the meantime, we would love for you to support us and donate to this great cause!
As we try work our way through this new, sudden, and exciting challenge in our lives, please help out this great cause by donating to this year's 2019 Oxfam Trailwalker in Dieppe with the big green Donate button above.
If you're having trouble deciding if you want to support us, here's a song to listen to while making your decision: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbNlMtqrYS0
Who are we?
We are half Cisco, one-quarter Revolut, half ex-Revolut, one-quarter Settled, and 100% crazy.
What is Oxfam Trailwalker about?
Well, it is a challenge for ordinary people, like you and us, who have decided to get involved in one of the most inspiring team challenges in the world: walk 100 km in less than 30 hours, in teams of 4, without relay!
What for?
Tackling poverty and inequalities around the world. Oxfam Trailwalker is not only about walking and challenging yourself mentally and physically, it is also a fundraising effort to support Oxfam France's actions. We have pledged to raise at least 1500 € to support this NGO. Oxfam works everyday on tackling poverty by changing minds, systems and lives. We are proud to help this organisation to do so!
We cannot do it alone, please support us! Use our teamspace to make a donation and help us challenging poverty!
Without you, we will not succeed.
Thank you!
